The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2010, initially offering a UG (B.Tech) Programme. The PG (M.Tech) programme in Geotechnical Engineering commenced in the year 2014. We are proud and happy that the good infrastructure and facilities coupled with a team of committed, caring and competent staff have made the department one of the preferred choices for aspiring graduates and post graduates in Civil engineering. The department has 7 well equipped industry-grade labs to support the academic programs, research & consultancy, ICT class rooms with multimedia facilities & secure wi-fi, hi-end computational facilities & a Centre of Excellence in Construction Materials Testing that supports the needs of nearby industries. The department specialties include field projects & visits, industrial internships & job oriented courses, dynamic & experienced faculty members, GATE & aptitude classes, student counseling & personality development, entrepreneurship support & extra/co-curricular activities. The department has received several research funded projects. Classroom to Career (C2C) programs initiated in the department are structured so as to make the students industry ready and employable.
