Achievements/Activities

• The students under the aegis of the Department of Physical Education, St. Thomas Institute for Science & Technology organised a special football tournament “COPA DE STIST” from 5/12/22 to 16/12/22. A logo launch was held on 5/12/2022 & a special wall drawing was done by the students. A flex of 52 ft. Length was also prepared by the students & put on display on the workshop block.
• The Department of Physical Education organised a special football tournament to commemorate the “FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022”, from 5/12/22 to 16/12/22.
• Mr. Santhosh Kumar K, Asst. Prof. Department of Physical Education, is nominated as one of the selectors of APJAKTU men’s cricket team for the team selection & inter-zonal championship at NSS college of engineering, palakkad from 13-17 Feb 2023.
• The Department of Physical Education congratulates Siddharth S S of 1st yr. M.Tech (Department of Civil Engineering) & Aswanath of S3 Department of Mechanical Engineering on getting selected to "APJAKTU A Zone Cricket team".
• St. Thomas Institute for Science & Technology Trivandrum, won the 2nd match of A -Zone Intercollegiate CRICKET tournament for the year 2022-23, conducted by KTU University against "College of Architecture Trivandrum" by 40 runs on 6/2/23. Siddharth from 1st yr. MTECH scored 58 runs & Aswanath from S3-Department of Mechanical Engineering scored 46 runs. Tournament Convenor was Mr Santhosh Kumar K.
• St. Thomas Institute for Science & Technology Trivandrum, won the 1st match of A -Zone Intercollegiate CRICKET tournament for the year 2022-23, conducted by KTU University against "College of Engineering Attingal" on 4/2/23. Tournament Convenor was Mr Santhosh Kumar K.
• The Department of Physical Education, St. Thomas Institute for Science & Technology organised football & cricket tournament with KTU funding in MBCET grounds on: 6-8 Jan 2023 & 4-9 Feb 2023.
