B.TECH ADMISSIONS 2025
The B.Tech programmes are of four-year duration, approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU), Thiruvananthapuram.
STIST offers B.Tech programmes in the following five disciplines.

ELIGIBILITY
For Admission to B.Tech First Year Engineering Course:
- Candidates passed in Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or equivalent, with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects & Chemistry as one of the optional subject with 45% marks are eligible for admission.
- If candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks of Computer Science will be considered.
- If candidate has not studied Chemistry & Computer Science the marks of Biotechnology will be considered.
- In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science & Biotechnology the marks of Biology will be considered.
- For SC/ST/SEBC & PwD quota candidates, minimum marks required for admission shall be 5% less than that of general category.

- 1.Admit card of the entrance examination conducted by the CEE (if applicable)
- 2.Marks / Data sheet of the Entrance Exam (if applicable)
- 3.Allotment Memo (if applicable)
- 4.Certificate to prove date of birth (10th Pass certificate)
- 5.T.C from the Institution last attended
- 6.Conduct Certificate from the Institution last attended
- 7.Certificate & Original Mark list of qualifying examination (HSE / VHSE / THSE / CBSE / ISC / OPEN School / Other State Board) – of Plus 2
- 8.Migration Certificate, if applicable (CBSE/ISC & those students from other States)
- 9.Physical fitness Certificate (in the relevant format)
- 10.Receipt of the fee remitted in the Bank (if applicable)
- 11.Eligibility Certificate from any University in Kerala, in case of candidates who have passed other than HSE/VHSE/THSE/CBSE/ISC
- 12.If Christian – Marthomite , Certificate from Parish
- 13.Caste & Income Certificate from the Village Office (if applicable)
- 14.Photo (2 Nos., Should have been taken within one month)
