Self-Learning

The strategy of Self-Learning & Self-Learning Material (SLM) plays an important role in academics by bridging the gap between the learner & instructors. The AICTE regulations provides opportunity for the in-house development of SLM by the institute in a learner-friendly language. The success of Self-Learning depends on the quality of SLM & keeping this vision, STIST has taken initiatives in this direction to meet the needs of our learners.

Various SLM content is provided in this section & sub-sections which supports & encourages the learner to acquire new knowledge & skills as well as key updates. Specific SWAYAM courses initiated by Government of India will also be made available here for staff & students. Courses delivered through SWAYAM are available free of cost to the learners, however learners wanting a SWAYAM certificate should register for the final proctored exams that come at a fee & attend in-person at designated centres on specified dates.
