Department : Electrical and Electronics Engineering : Mentoring

• The institute provides adequate pastoral care through student support and a mentoring system at the department and college level.
• At the department level, each year has one mentor/staff advisor who can help the students by discussing the issues (academics and personal) related to them.
• He/She, so entrusted with the responsibility, pays personal attention to and monitors students’ academic progress during institutional hours and behavioral processes outside the campus.
• Staff advisors maintain students' records with details of parents' addresses, contact numbers, and academic details including mentoring report
• In every semester, staff advisors do at least two mentoring and it is duly updated in the mentoring record. This mentoring record is reviewed by the HOD and also by the principal.
• This helps to closely monitor students’ progress in terms of his/her attendance, punctuality, academic performance, and learning capabilities.
• Also, it helps to identify, outside the curricular requirements, the student’s habitual deviations, utilization of facilities, and associative growth of personal attributes.
